Lakes Entrance is a seaside resort and fishing port, 320km East of Melbourne. Renowned as one of the regions premier clubs, Lakes Entrance Bowls Club is situated on majestic 90 Mile Beach, which is at the entrance to the beautiful Gippsland Lakes.
In collaboration with Swerve Design and Network Refurbishment & Construction Jarjoura Design was commissioned to upgrade the interior design of the club including the reception area, coffee area, gaming room, TAB/Sports lounge, bar and bistro area, interior terrace, members lounge, administration and amenities.
The brief was to design a precinct with a beachy, seaside aesthetic which housed several different zones that are a continuation of each other. Our design response draws on natural materials and earthy tones and textures to deliver resolved spaces that are modern, relaxing and welcoming to both local residents and tourist all year round.
